Hamzat Amoussa Koriko is a traditional African drummer, who emigrated from his home country of Togo to Grand Forks. He now teaches at the University of North Dakota, but he is also busy passing on his drumming traditions to an apprentice, who emigrated to Grand Forks from Cameroon. Together, Hamzat and his apprentice make inspiring music.
