AFTER THE 19th CENTURY OPIUM WARS WITH CHINA, THE BRITISH REIGNED SUPREME IN HONG KONG FOR 157 YEARS.
ON THE KOWLOON PENINSULA, THE EMPIRE ENDURES DURING TEA TIME AT THE VENERABLE 1928 PENINSULA HOTEL.
IN CANTONESE, "YAM CHA" MEANS HAVE TEA, AND IT'S ASSUMED YOU'RE GONNA HAVE THE SMALL DIM SUM DISHES WITH IT.

NOW IT ATTRACTS A LOT OF TOURISTS, AND IN FACT COMPETES QUITE FAVORABLY WITH THE OTHER MAJOR ATTRACTION ON THE ISLAND, DISNEYLAND.
