We’ve seen this debate before, in the late '60s when the Jane movement began in Chicago, secretly assisting in abortions when they were not legal. We’ve seen it in 1973 when Roe v. Wade was decided. And now we are seeing it again in 2022. Every state surrounding Illinois has more restrictive abortion laws.
