Theres a cub there Trist.
This is a particularly dangerous situation.
Trist, Lediba has made a kill.
Copy that.
Brad has found Lediba.
Cats have unbelievable expressions.
And she's not alone.
Her looking at this lion is with utter disgust.
The lone male lion has interrupted Lediba's plans to eat, again.
It's just sad that she's gone through all this effort to make a kill and gets stolen by a lion.
She really needed a meal.
Lediba has spotted an opportunity.
Okay, she's on the ground.
I think she's going to risk it all?
I think theres a cub there Trist.
Yeah, at the base of the tree.
It looks like Lediba brought her hungry cub to eat.
This is crazy.
Before the lion pushed them off.
This is a particularly dangerous situation.
Greg is joining Brad on the night shift.
She's been here eight, nine hours.
Very patiently waiting to steal something back.
The cub is desperate.
At this age, the cub should be eating almost a kilo of meat every day, on top of her mother's milk.
But hunger, is putting them both at risk.
Big boys moving.
Ledibas sneaking in.
She's got it.
Brad, I think he's coming back, ey.
Oh, she's seen it.
Cubs on the move.
The cub is heading into the trees for safety.
Its a hell of a climb for a cub.
She's seen him.
But Lediba is determined to get something to eat.
Go girl, come on.
Well done, Lediba.
Managed to sneak a little bit of food there.
Ledibas persistence has paid off.
She can now feed herself and her cub.
Never a moment's rest for a mother leopard.
