Hi, I'm Olivia maniac, a fourth yea student with my medical student.
Minute.
Urinary tract infections mos often affect teens and adults.
Symptoms may include increased bathroom trips, burning or pain while urinating, and feeling unable to fully empty the bladder.
Back pain and fever may occur.
UTIs in the elderly can look the same, but surprisingly, delirium may be the only symptom.
Delirium is a sudden change in mental status, such as increased confusion, aggression, or difficulty communicating.
Delirium can make it difficult to share other UTI symptoms.
Antibiotics can cure UTIs in a few days, but delayed car can lead to serious infections.
So if you notice a sudden change in mental status, visit a doctor immediately.
The answer may be a urine sample away.
And yes, cranberry juice may help ward off UTIs.
I'm Olivia mania with my medical student minute.
Cheers.
