I'm a country singer/songwriter.

♪ You and I were good friends ♪ ♪ Built on a hurt then ♪ ♪ You left me with a thought of us in my head ♪ I've loved singing ever since I was little, and country music was always the main thing being played on the radio at home, wherever I was.

So that's where I found my love for country music for sure.

And when I was 14, that's when I got my first gig, doing some open mics, which led me to that.

After I started that first gig, it just led to more opportunities.

Then I started to go into the recording side of music and recorded my debut single which kind of kick-started my career and led me to multiple opportunities with new stations and radio stations; that gave me my start.

So when I first started writing, I started to lean more toward the inspirational kind of aspect just because I was so young and I hadn't gone through many things.

Then when I hit high school, that's where the love songs started to come in as well as the heartbreak songs.

Then I have actually written some songs for school projects.

I do go to Performing Arts High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.

That has given me some challenges to write songs about topics I never would've written about.

And I have been a part of some songwriting competitions I guess you could say, that have gotten me out of my comfort zone to write about things I wouldn't normally write about.

That was why I wrote that song and decided to have it as my first single to inspire others.
