Theodore Roosevelt believed in conservation wildlife and nature alike. Roosevelt recognized the importance of trees to society and how trees needed to continue to be planted to ensure the survival of nature and humankind alike. With an address to school children in 1907, Theodore Roosevelt implored children to respect trees and nature, for their future depended upon it.
