Remembering Theodore Roosevelt: Bird Conservation
2/12/2020 | 2m 23sVideo has Closed Captions
A segment on how Theodore Roosevelt's life lessons are still relevant to today.
Theodore Roosevelt accomplished many things in his time as the 26th President of the United States, one of them being the creation of America's first Federal Bird Refuge in Pelican Island, Florida in 1903. Today, we remember President Roosevelt for the wisdom he had to create fifty-one bird reservations across the United States to protect birds whose only fault was their beauty.
