At this hour, there’s no word from CPS or the Chicago Teachers Union on the latest round of talks about reopening schools, but the 48-hour “cooling off” period announced by CPS and Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Monday is coming to an end. Amanda Vinicky has this report.
