in our Spotlight on Business Report tonight a critical eye on offshore wind development Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew and Chris Smith today hosted a third hearing on the impact of offshore wind energy in New Jersey which comes roughly a month after final Federal approval was given to build the first Wind Farm off The Jersey Shore as the projects move forward though opposition to the development also continues community members today voiced concern about noise and environmental PS from wind turbines others claimed wind is the most expensive form of green energy to build and warned it'll fall on taxpayers to fund while the congressman alleged offshore wind will be a detriment to Ocean and marine life concerns the federal government has been addressing through regulations for building we've got powerful forces against us I'm going to say how it is the current Administration right here in New Jersey wants this no matter what it takes no matter how much it costs no matter how much harm it does as well as the federal Administration in Washington that's the real deal this is not this is not a partisan issue this has nothing to do with partisanship it has to do with loving our environment and loving our ocean [Music]
