FBI failed to notify officials targeted by Russian hackers

An Associated Press investigation reveals that despite knowing for at least a year, the FBI did not inform U.S. officials that Russian hackers tried to access their personal email accounts in 2015. The hacking operation, known as “Fancy Bear,” also targeted the Democratic National Committee. AP reporter Raphael Satter joins Megan Thompson via Skype from London for more.
